Next to Sick Jacken en Cynic also legendary Cypress Hill DJ Julio G of KDAY Westside Radio and Eric Bobo were present.

Finale van de Grote Prijs

Fly-Bro uit Amsterdam staat op zaterdag 10 december 2011 in de Finale van de Grote Prijs van Nederland , categorie Hiphop, in de Paradiso te Amsterdam.

Ter promotie daarvan heeft hij een nieuwe videoclip ‘’Ah Yeah! (Free verse)’’ geschoten. Het nummer is geproduceerd door Statik Music en de cuts zijn verzorgd door DJ Skilla.

House Of Hip Hop & 5 Elementz presenteren agenda en kledinglijn

Hip-Hop platform House Of Hip Hop presenteert de eerste maandagenda van “the basement” die hoort bij de Amsterdamse kledingwinkel 5-elementz. Onder andere Skyzoo & Torae, Salah Edin & DJ Sueside (Wu-Tang) zullen hun opwachting maken in de kleine kelder waar Hip-Hop nog met twee hoofdletters wordt geschreven. Daarnaast bundelen House of Hip Hop en 5-elementz de krachten voor een t-shirt lijn voor Hip-Hop liefhebbers. 

House of Hip Hop heeft de programmering rond voor de maand december in “the basement” van kledingwinkel 5 Elementz. Opvallend zijn de namen Skyzoo & Torae die op 11 december te bezichtigen zijn. Deze twee rappers van het bekende Duck Down label gooien de laatste hoge ogen in de underground door sterke releases en werk met producers als DJ Premier.

Naast deze interessante avond is er nog veel meer te beleven in “the basement”. Zo zal Rocks zijn vrienden meebrengen voor een onvervalste Amsterdamse Hip-Hop avond, Salah Edin komt optreden en ook Bijlmerstyle presenteert een avond vol met talent uit de Bijlmer. DJ Sueside brengt 10 december een bezoek aan “the basement” voor een ouderwetse nacht gevuld met Hip-Hop bangers.

Op zaterdag 10 December geeft DJ TLM in samenwerking met House Of Hip Hop een masterclass. De masterclass bestaat uit een aantal onderdelen en duurt 3 tot 4 uur. Uiteraard wordt de geschiedenis van het DJ-en en turntablism behandeld en vertelt TLM zijn eigen verhaal, maar ook de basistechnieken van het mixen komen ook aan bod.   

Kaarten voor alle avonden en de masterclass zijn te koop in de 5 Elementz winkel in Amsterdam of via www.5-elementz.com. Voor iedere avond zijn maar 90 kaarten beschikbaar, dus als je ergens bij wilt zijn, moet je snel handelen! Doordat er maar plek is voor 90 mensen in “the basement”, zullen de shows een intieme Hip-Hop sfeer hebben die ervoor zorgt dat iedere avond lijkt op een grote cypher. Om de eerste maandagenda en de samenwerking tussen House Of Hip Hop en 5-elementz te vieren zal vanaf deze week het “Ik ben Hip-Hop” t-shirt uitkomen. Het eerste t-shirt in een reeks voor liefhebbers van Hip-Hop.

Necro drops Artwork for The Murder Murder Kill Kill EP

Hardcore rapper Necro announced the release date for his new EP Murder Murder Kill Kill, which will drop before his highly anticipated collaborative album with hip-hop legend, Kool G Rap.

The new EP, which the rapper has labeled “brutal Hip-Hop,” is due in stores on January 17th, 2012 via indie record label, Psycho+Logical Records.

New Album Naughty by Nature!

Veteran New Jersey Hip Hop trio Naughty By Nature is scheduled to release their first album in nine years this month. November 15's Anthem, Inc. will be Treach, Vin Rock and Kay Gee's first release with E1 Entertainment. The 13-track collection features Flavor Unit mentor and fellow Jersey Hip Hop pioneer Queen Latifah, as well as Wyclef Jean.

According to UndergroundHipHop.com, Anthem, Inc. will feature re-recorded hits such as "O.P.P.," "Uptown Anthem" and "Jamboree." The collection will also feature all new material as well.
